Student-Athlete Assessment & Selection (SAAS)

With a global reach, a select international Assessment Board, and long-standing partnerships, the Foundation works alongside esteemed sports organizations and engages with agents and consultants worldwide, including Africa, the Americas, Australia, China, Europe, and premier club programs.

During the SAAS process, each qualified candidate will:

  1. Obtain honest evaluation of student-athlete's athletic talent level.

  2. Discuss athletic strengths/weaknesses linked to personality type.

  3. Be advised and connected with the most appropriate CPSAF-approved academies.

  4. Review NCAA rules and regulations, including the NCAA eligibility process.

  5. If selected for a CPSAF Scholarship:

    • You may be eligible to earn up to a $100,000 renewable scholarship—up to $400,000 total over four years—toward tuition, school fees, books, supplies, and on-campus room and board at a CPSAF-approved institution, based on available funding and resources.

    • For international student-athletes, an F-1 Visa is approved by the Student and Exchange Visitors Program, Immigration & Customs Enforcement via an assigned Form I-20 from the United States State Department. All related fees are paid in full.

Pathway to Next-Level Advancement

A proprietary, thoughtful, and detailed planning process begins at age 14. Personalized attention maximizes exposure and educational opportunities and creates a unique strategy just for the student-athlete.

  1. Unrivaled expertise in advising and consulting on college prep school and collegiate academic/athletic options.  A team of expert coaches, performance specialists, and athletic trainers, many of whom played or coached at the professional and college level, design and develop fully customizable plans to meet every athlete's individual goals.

  2. Position-specific training, activation & injury prevention, speed & agility, strength & power, mobility and & recovery, mental skills, and nutrition/hydration.

  3. National competition at various tournaments/meets/showcase events, allowing CPSAF Student-Athletes to gain unprecedented exposure.

  4. Become part of a diverse network of more than 200 student-athletes attending college prep schools in the United States, pursuing D-I offers, and working hard in the classroom.

  5. For basketball, a reserved and paid-in-full roster spot on an elite CPSAF-accredited AAU club (Under Armour Association, Adidas 3 Stripe Select Basketball, or Nike EYBL circuit) during the NCAA Live Period each summer.

Smart College Placement

Alumni of the CPSAF Scholarship Fund often achieve a remarkable 90% Player Fit Score™, a key metric in the CPSAF Pathway to Next-Level. This score reflects their strong potential for success and dedication to university athletic programs. It indicates that these athletes are less prone to transferring during their college careers. College coaches highly value this consistency and reliability, frequently prioritizing CPSAF Student-Athletes in their recruitment efforts due to the confidence they have in these athletes' commitment and suitability for their programs.

  1. Nationally recognized CPSAF team advocating on behalf of the student-athlete and their family.

  2. Sponsored early college campus visits funded to subsidize student-athletes and parents with elite camps and campus visits. The chances of success increase exponentially when we work together to make this happen.

  3. Guaranteed 100% placement in a U.S. college or university.

    • National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA)

    • National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA)

Alumni Coaching

CPSAF alumni travel to Salt Lake City to be trained as coaches at our headquarters in August.

  1. The program pairs seasoned alumni and development staff with first-year Student-Athletes to support them as they launch into their college prep journeys. In the training, coaches learn how to help the new Student-Athletes as they transition to high school or post-grad, explore engagement opportunities on their campuses, and set and work towards a personal goal.

  2. Annual transformative African leadership and community service experiences in Kenya, Mali, Sudan, or Tanzania.
